No stranger to late nights in the studio, Harry Culhane is a promising talent rising out of the Bay Area.

Originally hailing from Malibu, California, he’s a rare member of society that can call Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La his local studio. Interning there over a span of two years, his musical chops were blazed by the studio’s rich history and cultural ethos.

Leaving the coastal town for the more creative side of Silicon Valley,
Harry studied Music at Santa Clara University with a focus on music production & Jazz Ensemble. Moving up to San Francisco post-graduation, he dove right into the production world, landing at EMPIRE studios under Grammy Award-winning engineer Lola Romero. Spanning across genres, Harry’s worked closely with artists that include Neemz, Clayton William and Moody Jones, producing “don’t forget to Dream” and “Die Lit.”

A self-proclaimed ‘SoundCloud Kid’, YouTube detective, and bonafide music nerd, Harry can recognize a Splice sample in a heartbeat, what guitar Jerry Garcia played in 77’, or which 808 will fry your audio driver.

Harry’s prowess for sound design, audio engineering, and musical artistry is laying a fertile ground for expression & expertise, and it’s becoming harder to turn down the volume.

Harry’s skills aren’t just limited to the music industry, scoring the 24hrs of Le Mans exhibit featured in the Segerstrom Shelby Event Center in 2021.

“I needed a soundtrack to support my 12-minute historical museum film. The score needed to be dynamic enough to attract and hold attention but not distract from the visual content. Harry’s composition was just the layer I was looking for. It complemented the piece perfectly, bringing the overall experience to a higher level.”

Harry also works in the podcast industry, most notably providing mixing & finishing work for:
Ear Hustle and MSNBC’s “Why is this Happening?” & “Prosecuting Donald Trump.”

“Harry is hard working with a keen ear for details. He is proficient in Protools and he is very reliable and consistent on his output. He and I have collaborated on several projects ranging from MSNBC series to indie documentaries. Harry is a valuable asset to my team and our clients.”
